Manufacturing

Martin has had extensive experience in automotive component design, engineering and production spanning over two decades, with the most recent EV specific products being distributed worldwide under the DTECH-EV brand. Notably these products are all designed, engineered, and manufactured in Australia. The following shows the capability of the design form factor and processes. Martin can assist you with your project from concept to manufacturing reality.

The DTECH-EV RFOC (Radial Finned Oil Cooler) are a high tech solution for both front and rear power units in all Tesla S3XY models including Cybertruck. The RFOC works by using atmospheric air cooling of the power unit coolant (oil) to keep Stator temperatures in check and deliver consistent electric motor power over a wider span of temperatures.

Along with additional cooling the RFOC delivers there is also a filtration component to the design which removes metal particles (generated by the power unit transmission) via a 10 micron filter element along with embedded magnets.

The RFOC has been used in both road and competition applications across four continents with notable testing being carried out in locations as diverse as the Nurburgring (Germany), Pikes Peak (USA), and Fuji Speedway (Japan).

Other DTECH EV products such as the ‘Cool Clamp’ are designed to work on a wide variety of EV plate style heat exchangers have also been developed and exported as a complimentary addition to the existing parts programs.

TESLARAD is another innovative product from DTECH-EV and engineered by Martin to improve the battery cooling effectiveness and thermal stability in Tesla Model 3/Y vehicles. This product has been used worldwide not only in race vehicles but also in collision repair centres that use Australian technology to repair factory vehicles to a higher level at lower cost.

As indicated on the ABOUT page there have been a list of successful products that Martin has been associated with and engineered over the years. These are just the more current EV offerings as an example of the type of products that can be developed.
